ISLAMABAD, April 5, 2017: Secretary Commerce, Mohammad Younus Dagha Wednesday assured full support of Ministry of Commerce to Intellectual Property Organization (IPO)-Pakistan in its efforts in creating Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) culture in the country. He expressed these views during his maiden visit to the office of Intellectual Property Organization (IPO)-Pakistan after assuming the charge at the ministry. Chairman IPO-Pakistan, Mr. Shahid Rashid welcomed the secretary, whereas Director General Mr. Muhammad Irfan Tarar and other high officials of the organization were also present on this occasion. Chairman IPO-Pakistan, Mr. Shahid Rashid briefed the Secretary about the working and function of the organization. He also shared the future plan of IPO-Pakistan to facilitate the stakeholders and to make the organization more efficient in its service delivery. Earlier, Mr. Meesaq Arif, Executive Director IPO-Pakistan gave a detailed briefing on the working of the organization. He also shared the future aspirations of IPO with the secretary. Secretary Commerce, Mohammad Younus Dagha appreciated the remarkable achievements of IPO-Pakistan and termed it an important component of Ministry of Commerce.
