Mr. Sajjad Ahmad, an officer of District Management Group (DMG) is a pro-active, progressive professional having vast and diverse experience of more than 26 years. He has International exposure of more than 20 countries on the globe. He has represented his country at different international forums. After completing his Master degree in English (Language & Literature) and studying law, he started his professional career as a Federal civil servant in BS-17. He has served in Federal Government and Provincial Governments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. He has worked on different posts such as Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Secretary (Admn, Coord etc.), Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), General Manager, Director, Deputy Commissioner, Joint Secretary, District Coordination Officer and Provincial Coordinator etc. and served in different departments/organizations like Local Government, S&GAD, Health, Planning & Development, Education, Rural Development, Forest & Tourism, Parks & Horticulture Authority, District Government, Immigration & Passports, Environment, Chief Minister Secretariat, AJ & K Council Secretariat, District Government, UNDCP and IUCN etc.

On July 22, 2011, he has assumed the charge of Director General of a very technical and high profile organization “Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO-Pakistan)”. He is performing his duties on this new assignment wholeheartedly.
